Zoo Attractions
Blackpool Zoo sets new standards in animal care with natural environments recreated.
- The Miniature train is a great way to see the park. Running from the main entrance to the far side of the zoo the track offers views of some of the animals and runs through beautiful woodland. Always a must for the kids.
- The Children's Zoo offers a chance for kids to get some hands on experience with some of the domestic animals. There is even a chance for them to feed these animals. Then there is the Children's Play Arena that is located near the Ape House and is great for kids to let off some steam.
- The Lemur Wood is an excellent example of natural habitat and is a great way to get close to the animals. Follow the path and you can see the playful Lemur's without fences.
- Gorilla Mountain is a definite must see at Blackpool Zoo. Surrounded by water the mountain is a feature point. You can also go into the Ape House to get a more up close view of these magnificent animals.
- Pandamania is a new attraction to hit Blackpool Zoo. The rare Red Panda is a recent addition to the park.
- The Swimulator is a great experience as it lets you get the feeling of swimming with dolphins, something most people have always wanted to experience. Feel like you are jumping through the waves, racing after prey or chasing away predators.
- There are also many other rides in the zoo to enjoy.
