Full of indoor entertainment, Jungle
Jim's adventure playground, Tower
aquarium, Dawn of Ages ride and lots
more, the basement auditorium holds the
magical Tower Circus, it is part of the
inclusive entertainment and there are
several shows daily.
From deep down below the stage in the
listed Ballroom with its with its ornate
ceiling, the mighty Wurlitzer organ
rises and plays almost 19,000 numbers in
a season. If you would like to dance,
that's great, or you can quietly sit and
listen to the many tunes and enjoy
yourself.
There's only one admission charge for the whole building. You'll find plenty to keep you and the children happy all day.
Blackpool Tower and Circus is now open daily for the 2007 season
- There are guided lifts every five minutes to the Tower Top. They start 20 minutes after the Tower opens & the last lift is 20 minutes before the Towers closing time.
- Arriving at 380 feet there's a real panoramic view. With an additional three levels to ascend, on a clear day you can see as far as North Wales, the Lake District, the Trough of Bowland and as the sun sets on a clear evening, The Isle Of man is visible across the Irish Sea.
- Britain's highest post box can be found at the Tower Top and all mail sent from here is marked with our own special official post mark - POSTED FROM THE TOP OF BLACKPOOL TOWER.
- Not for the feint hearted is the 'Walk of Faith' glass floor, a two inch clear panel that looks straight down to the Promenade below. Dare you try?
